Kent “good ol’ boy” Williams defeated Jerome Cochran by 30% in Carter County.
With all precincts reporting, Williams won 4,804 to Cochran’s 2,559.
Phil Roe also beat David Davis in Carter County, 4,213 to 3,123.

Well, that’s at least some good news to me, since Hill will win by a landslide, which is what I expected based on the campaign Smith “ran.”

Williams would be elected. Talk about ignorant. Jerome is too smart to represent Carter County.
